IUP’s Institute for Cybersecurity, in collaboration with the PC4A Project and Information Technology 支持 Center, will host the sixteenth annual Cybersecurity Day on October 31. This annual event features nationally recognized security experts as well as speakers from government, the security industry, 和学术界. It is free and open to the community.
Dana Driscoll (English, Writing Center) and Omar Yacoub (August 2023 graduate from the Composition and Applied Linguistics Doctoral program and former assistant director of the Jones White Writing Center) won a major article award for their 2022 article, “Threshold Genres; A 10-Year Exploration of a Medical Writer’s Development and Social Apprenticeship through the Patient SOAP Note.”
Applications are now being accepted for the fall 2023 graduate student research grant. Interested students may apply via InfoReady Review. The grant provides students with an opportunity for funding to support original 奖学金 and research projects.
The IUP 研究所 invites you to a series of Zoom workshops that will take place over the course of the Fall and Spring semesters.
The Writing Center offers students the opportunity to attend Wednesday Workshops, which are workshops open to all students on campus and are held on Wednesdays throughout the semester at 7:00 p.m. in 210 Stabley Library and via Zoom.
